Fidget spinners - they are the latest cult craze to hit the school grounds and teens everywhere love them.
And they are so simple to make at home.
For example, all you need is:
- A ball bearing
- 3 plastic bottle lids
- A soldering iron
- 3 x two-pronged LED globes
- A hot-glue gun
- 3 x 3V lithium batteries (NOTE: lithium batteries are fatal if swallowed. So these spinners are not suitable for young children)
- 3x plastic 3V battery housings
- An old toothbrush and some detergent.
Then, it's simply a case of following this nifty, but very simple, instructional video off YouTube.
And please, if you do decide to make your own LED fidget spinner, send in your photos or some video to share with us. We'll publish the best here on YsPeople.
Until then, happy spinning!
