Fruits cool down the body system. They have moisture in them which helps us hydrate ourselves especially during hotter days of the year.  Since they are high in fibre,  they aid in digestion.

They provide us with energy as well. A bowl of fruit is great before a workout at the gym, for instance. Though they are not interchangeable but if you are cutting down vegetables from your diet, you should consume fruits as they bridge the gap in your diet which has been formed due to the lack of vegetables.

Even for those who are looking to lose weight, fruits are the best option. The fibre content in them feed the hunger without giving the body an extra pound. The minerals in fruits distribute themselves throughout our bloodstream. For instance, watermelon contains mostly water, so you can eat a lot of it without the worry of weight gain.

For those who have no time to whip up a fruit salad there is an option of Frisp.
