About Subversive

Do you have your own gripe with your local or state government? And what are the streets like in your part of town, in your home state?

If you'd like me to fire a rocket up them, or a shoddy business, I'm listening! You can email me here.

Follow these 10 clues and if you correctly guess the answer, you could win.

Want to win a gorgeous bottle of Helen & Joey Estate Layla Cabernet Merlot? All you have to do is tell me who I am.

Who Am I.

Who Am I

Every correct response will go in the draw to win a bottle of this excellent wine.

Each week I provide 10 clues upon which to base your answer.

To enter, please email your response and postal address to maxine@picassocapital.com.au . We'd prefer you don't leave them in the comments section, to avoid spoiling it for others.

Last week's winner was C. Marsh, of Wilson, WA, who correctly answered Maria CallasCongratulations, your bottle of delicious wine will soon be on its way!

So here is this week’s mystery!

Who am I?

  • I was born just before the 20th century
  • I died just before Ronald became President and got to meet Dick at home
  • In addition to my primary occupation, I was a poet and theorist
  • The country of my birth still looks on me with reverence
  • I was the son of a wealthy farmer and I encouraged farming
  • My wife was almost as well-known as I was
  • I started life as a man of faith, but a Prussian changed all of that
  • My first marriage was arranged – and I never recognised it
  • My title was the same as Frank's nickname
  • 1949 was probably the most significant year of my life
