A stunning mural of an iconic Goldfields landmark is just one of many new projects underway for Kalgoorlie PCYC.

Kalgoorlie PCYC has been busy adding some much-needed colour and culture to its centre with a stunning mural of an iconic Goledfields scene.

Young people from the Kalgoorlie PCYC Friday night Safe Space program leave their mark on the mural.

Young people from the Kalgoorlie PCYC Friday night Safe Space program leave their mark on the mural.

The mural, featuring the Kalgoorlie mine shaft at sunset, has been made possible thanks to the assistance of Headspace Youth Action Group, along with Bunnings, which supplied all the paint, brushes and accessories.

Young people from Kalgoorlie PCYC's Friday night Safe Space sessions will also have the opportunity to leave their mark on the mural with their own paintings and drawings.

The mural is just one of many exciting new centre projects underway. A new Air Rifles Wall was recently installed, and plans are on the table to build arcade machines for their youth space, with young people getting involved to help put them together.

To support or find out more about all of the exciting projects underway at Kalgoorlie PCYC, call the centre today on (08) 9021 1076 or email kalgoorliepcyc@wapcyc.com.au
